The Adult Ministry at Allen Heights Baptist Church

Allen Heights offers adults a variety of events for fellowship, worship and learning with others. Support for families and singles is available with an emphasis on developing effective disciples of Christ.

Sunday Schedule

Bible Study 9:30 a.m.
Opportunities for adults to learn and study God’s word on Sunday mornings are presented in diverse classes.

Prayer Service 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday Schedule

Women's Bible Study 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
In the summer months, women meet at area restaurants for fellowship and devotional. During the school calendar year, Allen Heights Baptist Christian Life Center is the location for a non-denominational Bible Study (Bible Discussion Group). http://www.biblediscussiongroups.com/

Wednesday Schedule

Wednesday Night Supper 5:45 p.m.
Allen Heights offers a meal for busy families to facilitate ease of scheduling for Wednesday night activities. All are invited to attend in the Fellowship Hall of the Christian Life Center for a time of good food and fellowship.

Prayer Meeting/Bible Study 7:00 p.m.
Adults meet in the sanctuary for a time of prayer for specific needs and mid-week Bible Study.

Thursday Schedule

Men's Prayer Breakfast 5:30 a.m.
Men are encouraged to attend an early morning devotional and prayer breakfast at Poor Richard’s Cafe on Park Blvd. in Plano.

Saturday Schedule

Men's Prayer Breakfast 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (every 3rd Saturday)
Meeting in the Fellowship Hall of the Christian Life Center, men have a monthly opportunity to share good food, fellowship, prayer needs and common concerns.

Women's Ministry

Our theme for the Women's Ministry this year is Women Seeking Gods Plan. Our Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you." declares the Lord. "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Come join, support and encourage women with Gods plans for their lives. Special events such as retreats, fellowship and service are planned throughout the year.

Men's Ministry

AHBC offers a wide variety of opportunities to develop lasting, meaningful friendships among Christian men in local, state, national, and global areas of service and fellowship. Some areas are, Texas Baptist Men, Promise Keepers and The Gideons. Special events include weekly Bible studies, monthly prayer breakfasts, golf tournaments, and cooking fund-raisers.
