JAM (Jesus and Me) Kids’ Ministry
For Kindergarten to 6th Grade Students
AHBC Kids’ Ministry Mission Statement
1.) To take the word of God, with the teachings of Jesus, and present it to the children of Allen Heights Baptist Church in a comprehensive, faith-based curriculum and through the Bible.
2.) To help the children build a strong foundation in Christ, and have a personal relationship with Him.
3.) To accomplish the purpose of spreading the word of God, teaching the children the Good News of Jesus Christ, and developing them into disciples of Christ.
We teach the children Biblically based lessons using TEAM KID - GOOD NEWS from Lifeway for the PreK-3rd grades and BE BOLD! from Group Publishing for the Pre-Teens (4th- 6th grade).
We meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., for Life Group in the Christian Life Center (back) building. Children can be dropped off and picked up at the Security Desk in the CLC. Parents, remember to pick your child up after Life Group to attend the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service as a family. At around 11:15 a.m., the kids will be dismissed from the Worship Service for an “extended session” of JAM Kids Life Group.
Wednesday Night Activities
As part of our Wednesday Night Activities, the JAM Kids’ Ministry meet in the JAM Kids’ room in the CLC (back) building on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., after the Fellowship Meal.
